Big Win for Injured Employees in Florida!

Injured workers in Florida will now have more attorneys willing to help them with their workers’ compensation claims.  The Supreme Court of Florida struck down the restrictive laws relating to attorney fees in workers’ compensation claims.  Attorneys who represent injured workers in Florida will now be able to recover reasonable attorney fees.  This is good for injured workers in Florida.  The formerly restrictive laws meant that attorneys were less willing to help injured workers because they were not being properly compensated for their time.  Now that the attorneys will be able to recover reasonable fees, injured workers will have more attorneys willing to help them.  The workers’ compensation attorney fees in Florida are now more similar to the laws in Georgia.
